About Me

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I realized I wanted to be in news as a 10-year-old when I visited the ABC affiliate.  I was blown away by the chroma key green screen.  I had never realized how that worked!

Now, I'm a broadcast journalism student at the University of Georgia and an aspiring news reporter.  I have spent the last few years as a crew member, manager, and reporter of Grady Newsource, the broadcast out of our college that goes to 1.6 million people in the Northeast Georgia area.  This year, I was the head show manager, elected by my peers to run the station for the 2014-2015 school year.  I have also covered UGA and high school sports for the local newspaper.

Last summer, I interned with WKYC, the NBC affiliate in Cleveland.  Getting to cover news in the city that I love (especially when Lebron James came back!) was the best experience of my life.

I have an interest in news and sports coverage that goes beyond the normal person. My parents always said that I should do what I love so I'd never have to work a day in my life.  Journalism is what I love.
